How To Attaching  Plumbing System To The Vacuum Chamber:

                         Plumbing System To Side Mount Chamber

                             (Remove Green Seal Prior to Attaching)

  • Attach plumbing system as shown in Figure 1.
  • Hold the plumbing system (gauge facing up) with one hand and tighten lock nut with end wrench or socket.
  • Tighten the plumbing system snug until and the rubber ring starts to squeeze. Do Not A good indicator is when the plumbing can only rotate with some nominal force.

                           Plumbing System To The Chamber Lid

  • Attach plumbing system as shown in Figure 2.
  • Hold the plumbing system (gauge facing up) with one hand and tighten lock nut with end wrench or socket.
  • Tighten the plumbing system snug until and the rubber ring starts to squeeze. Do Not A good indicator is when the plumbing system can only rotate with some nominal force.

Vacuum does not register on gauge after 5 second with pump running:

Ensure the seal is properly placed on the rim of the chamber. Once the pump starts, Press down slightly on the lid to ensure contact with lid and seal.

Ensure the hosing is connected to the valve with the hose barbe.

Ensure the valve connected to the hose is open and the valve with the filter is closed.

 

Gauge does not Zero or Registers Full Vacuum :

Ensure the black nipple located at the top of the gauge is properly cut flush with the black cap. Figure 3.

 Differences between Stainless Steel and Aluminum Chambers: 

  • The main differences are the size configuration and the aluminum chambers have handles. For example,  the 3 Gallon Stainless Steel is taller than the 3 Gallon Aluminum and the 3 Gallon Aluminum is wider than the 3 Gallon Stainless Steel.   Both chamber will perform the same under vacuum. 

Can Our Vacuum Ovens Be Used To Cure Wood Stabilizing Agents:

  • No, our vacuum ovens are more designed for purging. A small toaster oven  is recommended for smaller parts.
